ASTHMA COURSE
Accredited Courses/Unit modules covered are VU24021 Provide First Aid Management of an Asthma Emergency and VU24022 Manage Asthma Risks. This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to identify asthma risks, support people with asthma and respond appropriately to asthma symptoms. This course is suitable for a wide range of workplaces and community settings, including childcare and education settings, aged care, disability support, sport and recreation, youth services and first aid roles.
Course duration
This course takes approximately 2-3 hours depending on class size and learner’s previous knowledge. There is pre- reading prior to attendance.

Entry Requirements
Learners will be required to pass a basic language, literacy, numeracy and digital test before confirmation of enrolment or immediately prior to commencing the training.
Certification Issued
On successful completion of the course, the candidate will receive a statement of attainment for the nationally accredited course 22702VIC- Course in the Management of Asthma risks and Emergencies
